There are three different types of traditional lederhosen.
Probably the most popular is the short leather pants. With this type of leather trousers, the leg length reaches at least halfway up the thigh and at most up to the knee. The short leather pants are often combined with suspenders - with or without a bib.
There is also the so-called knee breeches. The leg length in this style is just below the knee and has drawstrings for the pant legs at this point, which allow the pant to be fitted perfectly. This variant can also be worn with or without suspenders.
Finally, there are also long leather trousers. This type of leather pants comes down to the ankle and can keep you warm in cold weather.
