How do i wash my lederhose?

Who doesn't know it? After a few hours at the party, people become careless and it can happen that quickly: a stain on your lederhosen! Acidic drinks such as white wine or sparkling wine can permanently damage the color of the leather.

But if it is already too late, you should immediately wash out the stain over a large area with lukewarm water. This way you can avoid stains on your leather pants.

You should also avoid wearing sunscreen. This can lead to red discoloration.

Cleaning supplies

Your leather trousers do not need any aggressive cleaning agents and should only be cleaned if absolutely necessary. Before attempting any other means of cleaning the pants, try rubbing leather against leather. This is often enough to remove stains.

Tips for various stains:

-Wide tape

Countless stains can be removed with a wide adhesive tape (e.g. stains from ballpoint pens)

- Eraser for suede

This miracle product can also be used to remove a wide variety of stains with ease.

- Treat grease stains

Grease stains often go away on their own over time, but if you can't wait, start by soaking up the grease with a paper towel until it stops. You can then dissolve wool detergent in lukewarm water to remove the stain. Finally, just soak up the liquid with a paper towel.

IMPORTANT: Dry cleaning should only be done in an emergency! The surface of the leather can be changed and thus robs the leather trousers of their coveted patina.
